Our teachers are smart, energetic people who care, passing along their knowledge, utilizing their energy, and sharing their passion for learning.

Ask any BASIS Texas Charter School student what makes their school different, and first thing they will mention is “the teachers.” BASIS.ed Texas hires dedicated teachers who believe that every child can succeed. They set high expectations to compel students to rise to challenges, and they support their students as individuals, in and out of the classroom, to nurture their academic success.

BASIS.ed teachers know their subject matter and their students well, and although the BASIS Charter School Curriculum is the foundation of every lesson plan, our teachers are given the freedom to spark curiosity in their own creative ways. Importantly, BASIS Charter Schools support teachers by allowing them to focus their time and energy on their classes rather than administrative tasks—and that, in turn, benefits their students.
